“And these are my friends Cliff, Clay, Daisy, and Dawn,” said Amelia Bedelia.

“Yoo-hoo! Helloppy!” called a familiar voice. Everyone spun around. And there was Jackie, riding up on a bicycle. She was wearing a big pair of yellow sunglasses and a large straw hat festooned with flowers. A tiny white dog sat in the basket. It too wore a hat and sunglasses.

“This is my dog, Debris,” Jackie said. Debris stood up in the basket and wagged his tail. “He comes with me to the studio every day.”
